How the FotoDoKarty service works

§ 1. Service model

FotoDoKarty is a paid digital service. We prepare a biometric photo for the Karta Pobytu CUKR from a selfie sent by the customer. The price depends on how you pay: 250 XTR (Telegram Stars) for payment made directly in the Telegram bot, which is how payment works today, or 16.99 PLN gross per order for payment via an integrated payment system such as Przelewy24 or a card, once that method is activated. The service is fully automated and delivered through the Telegram bot t.me/FotoDoKartyBot. We do not run a physical photo studio and we do not act as an intermediary in official matters. We sell only the finished image file.

§ 2. How we deliver the service

The customer opens the Telegram bot and sends a selfie.
The bot checks the photo first: face in frame, face not covered, enough light. If the selfie is unusable, the bot asks for a new one before any payment.
The customer accepts the Terms and the Privacy Policy, then pays with Telegram Stars or Przelewy24.
The system processes the photo automatically and prepares 4 lighting variants.
The customer picks one variant and receives a ready 684×883 px JPG for the MOS portal, plus an optional 10×15 cm sheet with six photos for printing.
We deliver the result within a few minutes of payment confirmation. Files stay available for download for 24 hours, after which they are permanently deleted from the system.

§ 3. How we process your photo

The service processes the submitted selfie automatically so the file meets biometric photo requirements. We perform the following operations:

background replacement with plain white (#FFFFFF), as required by MOS and ICAO 9303;
cropping and alignment to ICAO 9303 geometry (the head fills about 75% of the frame);
light, exposure, and colour-balance correction, which produces the 4 variants you choose from;
gentle cosmetic retouching that evens out skin tone and removes temporary blemishes such as redness or spots.

We do not change identity or biometric features. Permanent features, including moles, scars, and facial proportions, stay untouched. The face is not generated or “redrawn” by AI. We do not alter glasses, hair, or head coverings. This keeps the true likeness that the ICAO 9303 standard requires.

§ 4. Compliance and acceptance

We declare technical compliance of the file with MOS portal requirements (684×883 px, JPG, up to 2.5 MB, white background) and with ICAO 9303 geometry. We do not guarantee that any given office will accept the photo. Acceptance depends, among other things, on the quality of the submitted selfie and on the additional requirements of the specific authority (see Terms § 12.4). This disclaimer does not limit the customer’s statutory rights regarding non-conformity.

§ 5. Complaints and refunds

If the result does not conform to the contract, you can file a complaint at kontakt@fotodokarty.com.pl. The deadlines, handling procedure, and a complaint template are described on the Complaints and refunds page and in Terms § 10-11. A complaint about the Przelewy24 payment transaction itself goes to the operator, PayPro S.A.

Because we supply digital content, the right to withdraw from the contract expires once delivery begins with your explicit consent (Art. 38(13) of the Consumer Rights Act). See Terms § 9 for details.
